Position: Middle School Tennis Coach
Season: Spring 2026 (March to early May)
Stipend: $1,500-2,500

Position Summary
Newton Country Day School seeks positive and energetic Middle School Tennis Coaches to guide and inspire student-athletes during the spring 2026 season. The coach will focus on teaching fundamentals, building confidence, and fostering a love for the game in a mission-driven, supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and lead engaging practices and game-day coaching that emphasize skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
• Support student-athletes of all experience levels, helping them develop courage, confidence, discipline, and joy through sport.
• Communicate effectively with players, families, and the Athletics Department regarding schedules, expectations, and team updates.
• Model and uphold the values of Sacred Heart education and Falcon Athletics, promoting an inclusive and respectful team culture.
• Drive school vehicles to practices and competitions when needed.
• Complete additional responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Athletics.

Preferred Qualifications

• Playing or coaching experience in tennis.
• A passion for developing young women through sport.
• Enthusiasm for working with middle school students and developing foundational skills.
• CPR/First Aid and SafeSport certifications (or willingness to complete prior to the season).
• CORI background check and fingerprinting required.
