Middle School Visual Art Elective Teacher (Part-Time)
Shady Hill School, Cambridge, MA
Shady Hill School is seeking a Visual Art Teacher for our 7th and 8th grade Arts Electives program. Each class will meet Tuesdays from 8:25am – 10:00am and Thursdays from 10:25am – 11:10am. Classes will run for 1 trimester (approximately 11 weeks). Teachers may be hired for the full year or term-by-term. Classes will consist of 10 – 15 students.
Specific curriculum will be designed by the teacher and should be centered around their area of expertise or passion, i.e. printmaking, illustration, collaborative art-making, puppetry, collage, bookmaking, etc.
This is a part-time, stipend position and does not qualify for benefits.
