Position Title: Middle School Afterschool Study Hall Coordinator

Responsible to: Director of Extended Day
Dates of Employ: November 1, 2022 – June 8, 2023, Monday – Friday 2:30 pm. – 5:30 p.m. (15 hours/week)

The Middle School Study Hall is called AP (short for Afterschool Program) and it is our supervised study hall for MS students. Students must go to AP between any after-school activities or while waiting for a ride (after regular pick up has ended). Students may use the time to do homework or other quiet activities. AP takes place on Mondays from 3:15-5:30 p.m. and Tuesdays-Fridays from 2:30-5:30 p.m.


  • Previous experience in education, recreation, or related child development field preferred
  • Emotional maturity and willingness to accept responsibility
  • Excellent judgement. Demonstrated flexibility and problem-solving skillsResponsibilities:


  • Ensuring students sign in and out with you
  • Monitor volume control of students
  • Maintaining overall integrity and cleanliness of spaces used
  • Communicating effectively with students and the Director
  • Upholding the school’s mission, vision, and core valuesAs needed
  • Full-day coverage during Conference Days and Vacation Camps
  • Other duties as assigned by the Extended Day DirectorRate of pay will be commensurate with experience.
