This innovative educator who brings a passion and enthusiasm for helping adolescents acquire a high level of proficiency in the subject matter are the qualities and skills we seek. This is an opportunity to be part of a dynamic department that values skill development, a hands-on approach to teaching, and positive student-teacher relationships. We seek teachers who are passionate about their subjects and dedicated to guide students in strong academic habits and are committed to collaborating, reflecting and growing in their teaching practice. Strong applicants should have significant coursework in a relevant subject, a master’s degree is preferred, but not required, an interest in curriculum development, an appreciation for all-girls’ education, and at least three years of classroom experience is preferred. Our teachers are mentors to individual students and club leaders. Qualified applicants should submit a letter of interest, a resume and three references by visiting the Montrose School website.
