DESCRIPTION
The Newman School is seeking a dynamic Director of Marketing and Communications to lead strategic initiatives that enhance the school’s visibility, storytelling, and engagement with key stakeholders. This position plays a vital role in articulating the mission, values, and strengths of the school to prospective families, current students, faculty, alumni, and donors.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field required.
- 5+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related role, preferably in a school setting.
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong project management skills and an ability to balance multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in digital marketing strategies, social media, and website management.
- Experience with Blackbaud or other content management systems is a plus.
- Ability to collaborate across departments and engage with diverse constituencies, including students, faculty, parents, and alumni.
- Passion for education and commitment to promoting the school’s mission and values.
