Berwick Academy, a PK-12 coeducational day school located in Southern Maine seeks a dynamic, student-centered educator to teach Spanish in our Lower and Middle Schools. Specific duties will include teaching some combination of grade levels between PK and 6th grade.  A qualified candidate will show significant evidence of exceptional teaching and a keen understanding of the developmental needs of lower and middle school students. A passion for teaching Spanish language and culture as well as a collaborative/interdisciplinary teaching approach and instructional leadership skills among peers are hallmarks of a successful candidate. Knowledge of the Responsive Classroom approach and/or Project-Based Learning would be beneficial for this position. This part-time position begins in the 2023-24 academic year.
