The Williston Northampton School, an independent co-educational boarding and day school in Easthampton, Massachusetts, is a culturally diverse educational community serving grades 7-12.

We are seeking to hire a Long-Term History and Global Studies Substitute Teacher to cover August 2023-January 2024. Strong candidates will have high school or middle school teaching experience, and the courses to be covered may include world history. No certification is required. Candidates must be able to successfully complete the state mandated CORI, as well as SORI, a general background check and a fingerprint based criminal background check. No benefits are offered for the temporary position. It is important that candidates possess the flexibility, energy, commitment to teamwork, and appreciation for adolescents that life in an independent school boarding community requires.
