Montrose seeks an experienced teacher of Latin to begin in August 2025 to join our professional learning community for part-time employment, with full-time options if combined with English or History. At Montrose, our students engage in the adventure of learning through discovery and Latin scholars discover the classics, the Roman Empire and mythology through their teacher’s passion for the subject. Latinist begin their journey at 8th graders and can continue through AP Latin. We seek teachers who are passionate about their subjects and dedicated to guide students in strong academic habits and are committed to collaborating, reflecting and growing in their teaching practice. Strong applicants will have an advanced degree, at least three years of classroom experience, and an appreciation for an independent school environment and an all-girls’ education.
