Maimonides School, a K-12 Modern Orthodox Jewish day school in Brookline, MA, is seeking a teacher for upper school Jewish History and Western Civilization, Modern Jewish History, and potentially 8th grade History of Israel classes for the 2025-2026 school year.
The ideal candidate connects easily with students and is eager to participate in all aspects of school life. The candidate should be a reflective educator—eager for continuous growth, open to support and feedback, and an excellent collaborator. We are a school that emphasizes student-centered learning, where students do the intellectual work and teachers facilitate that work.
Salary range is $65,000-$75,000 annually, commensurate with years of experience and highest degree earned.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or PhD preferred
- Previous teaching experience at the high school level
- Experience teaching Jewish and Israeli History
