At Moses Brown School,100 faculty members serve nearly 800 students ages 3-18, with a student-to-teacher ratio of 8:1. Responsibilities:  Moses Brown seeks an interim Biology teacher for 23-24 to teach two sections of 9th grade biology and two sections of 9th grade honors biology.

 Working closely with other members of the science department is important to our school culture. Teachers also meet regularly with students outside of the classroom during designated office hours and for occasional extra help outside of these times. 

In addition to the core teaching responsibilities, Moses Brown teachers have yearly co-curricular responsibilities.  Teachers are expected to serve on committees and attend school meetings, some of which take place after school.

Qualifications: Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited institution. Two to five years of teaching experience is preferred, although not a requirement for application. Master’s degree or beyond is desirable.

 Compensation: Compensation is competitive and based on education and number of years of experience.
