George Stevens Academy, an independent high school in Blue Hill, Maine, invites applicants for an Interim Head of School position to serve during the 2023-24 school year.
A town academy founded in 1852, GSA is the high school of choice for the majority of students from the seven towns in its rural community. The school also enrolls private-pay day and boarding students from around the world.
The Interim Head should be an experienced educator and school administrator, possessing strong financial skills. The interim Head will be responsible for overseeing and directing the day-to-day operations of the Academy, and ready to work with the Board of Trustees to advance its strategic action plan, thereby paving the way for the arrival of a permanent Head.
