Nobles seeks an experienced history and social sciences teacher to begin in late August 2025.  The successful candidate will have a strong academic background, a minimum of 3-5 years of teaching experience, and be committed to ongoing growth in their classroom practice and curricular development.  A Bachelor’s degree is required. A strong background in U.S. history and world history is a plus. This is an opportunity to be part of a dynamic department whose members are passionate about ideas, teaching practices, and developing positive student-teacher relationships. The Noble and Greenough School looks for multifaceted educators who are eager to contribute significantly to the life of the school in at least one non-academic area (e.g., athletics, community service, admissions, or performing arts) outside of their teaching.  Applicants must be eligible to work in the USA to be considered for employment and be able to pass all background checks required for Massachusetts educators.  Although Nobles does offer housing as a benefit for some positions, it is extremely limited and not guaranteed.
