Waldorf School of Lexington, now in its 51st year, is currently accepting applications for a full-time Health Coordinator. This 12-month, salaried position has an immediate start date and offers competitive benefits. Salary is commensurate with experience.

The Health Coordinator is a critical frontline position who creates and ensures a positive, warm, and welcoming environment in our front office and is responsible for a variety of day-to-day administrative and health office tasks. The role involves interacting with students, families, faculty and staff, and is the face of first greeting for those entering the school.

Preferred Qualifications:

We are seeking a proactive, enthusiastic, and committed health professional who enjoys interacting with staff, faculty, students and families. The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal and organizational skills, experience and comfort with health care tasks and responsibilities. Additional qualifications include:

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Medical Assistant, Nursing Assistant, or similar certification preferred but not required

  • CPR and First Aid certified

  • Ability to strictly respect and protect student, staff and family confidentiality

  • 2-5 years of work experience in a health care or related role

  • Exceptional attention to detail is required

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, and the ability to prioritize

  • Office management skills (i.e. organization, electronic office management tools and software,  phone etiquette)

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google products; other software tools experience a plus
