The International School of Boston seeks a part-time Health & Wellness Coordinator for the 2023-24 academic year. 

• The H&W Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that students across K-12 grades are receiving complete, comprehensive, and developmentally appropriate health and wellness education. 

• The H&W Coordinator will provide direct teaching as well as coordinate specialist consultants to work with students.

• The  H&W Coordinator will be in charge of teaching one health class to middle school and one health class to high school students, at least.

• The  H&W Coordinator will also help to provide up to date teaching materials and lesson plans to teachers and advisors.

• In addition, the H&W Coordinator will be in charge of promoting wellness events and initiatives throughout the school.

The person in this position should have prior experience as an educator and working in the area of health, wellness and social emotional learning. Ideally the person in this position will have worked across k-12 ages. A Bachelor’s degree is required.

It is strongly beneficial for the person to have French language proficiency and/or be bilingual however this is not required. The person in this position should have cross-cultural competency and be an excellent communicator as well as possess good administrative skills.
