French Substitute Teacher
Walnut Hill School for the Arts, Natick, MA
Walnut Hill School for the Arts seeks a substitute teacher to teach 2 sections of French from the beginning of the 2023-2024 School year starting in mid-August and ending in mid-October. This is a temporary position reporting to the Head of World Languages. Compensation for this coverage will be $1,000.00 per week ($500 per week per section). Please note: Walnut Hill does not provide visa sponsorship.
Walnut Hill language programs aim to teach language and encourage cross-cultural exploration in an immersive environment; students are required to use only the target language to engage in class, even at the introductory level. The department places special emphasis on speaking, and students hone their skills through active participation in different activities such as story-telling, songs, routine conversations, presentations, and debates. Courses are comprehensive and sequential, and celebrate language, culture, and personal growth.
