Faculty Position: Athletics, Tutoring, & Residential Life
Tilton School seeks a full time faculty member to serve in the athletics department, as a tutor in the Center for Academic Achievement and residential life Qualified candidates will have experience working with students in a residential setting (camp, college or boarding school). They must have substantial experience in high school and/or college athletics. They must demonstrate a commitment to their own growth and the growth of their student-athletes. In residential life, this position will also serve as a driver for the health center, a duty team member on one weekday night as well as every fourth Friday and weekend.
Preferences will be given to candidates who demonstrate:
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
- An abiding belief that all students can grow and succeed
- Ability to work well in a student-centered program
- An eagerness to work in an fast-paced and supportive learning community
Ideal candidates would want to pursue careers in boarding school education, athletic department leadership or residential programming.
Preferred coaching experience or interest in the following:
- Winter: Basketball
- Spring: LX, Tennis or Baseball
