Located in Putney, Vermont, the Greenwood School is a middle and high school boarding program for high-potential young men with learning differences such as dyslexia, attentional difficulties (ADD / ADHD), or executive functioning deficits. Greenwood offers a comprehensive, individualized remedial program, balanced with an emphasis on enrichment programs designed to awaken students’ hidden talents. Greenwood seeks an enthusiastic, reliable applicant to serve on its evening team. The evening team works Sunday-Thursday evenings from 5:30-10:30pm. During the week, evening team members help students develop greater life skills, lead nightly activities, provide supervision, and facilitate floor meetings emphasizing self-advocacy and community living.
Qualified candidates will have excellent interpersonal skills, experience working with adolescent boys 6-12th grade in either an educational, residential, or human service background. Flexibility while working as a team is a must. This position is to serve each week approximately 25 hours between Sunday-Thursday afternoon/evening.
