The International School of Boston seeks a full-time English teacher for the 2023-24 academic year.  The English teacher is responsible for teaching language arts, math, social studies, and science. The English teacher will also work closely with their French colleagues and specialists and assist in the harmonization of the French/US program.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, with a commitment to pursue Master’s degree
• Three years of experience in instructing children in an academic program
• Ability to develop and provide differentiated instruction to meet learning needs of a range of students
• Enthusiasm for bilingualism and international education
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills to manage and control a classroom
• Ability to perform critical thinking, organization, prioritization and problem solving with minimal supervision
• Ability to serve in a diverse community of colleagues, students and parents
• Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion and justice

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in elementary education
• MA Teaching certification
