Job Title: Education Technology Support Coordinator
Location: Onsite Fontbonne, the Early College of Boston, Milton MA
Position Type: Full-Time 12 months non-exempt
Reports To: Director of Technology and Data

Overview: Fontbonne, The Early College of Boston is seeking an education technology professional to
join the Technology Team. This team member is a self starter and fills a vital role in the day to day
experience of students, faculty, staff, administration and parents. Join a supportive and innovative team
dedicated to leveraging technology to enhance educational outcomes. Our team works on a variety of
impactful projects that shape the technological landscape of our school. The Education Technology
Support Coordinator is a full-time member of the staff and is primarily responsible for managing the
Student Information System, Google Workspace for Education, Active Directory and Print Services as
well as integrations between these systems and other, third-party systems and databases used by the
school. The Education Technology Support Coordinator, along with the Director of Technology, support
the community by offering technology support to all constituents with school provided devices as well as
manage the Audio Visual needs of the community. Fontbonne believes all members of the Adult Learning
Community are educators and take part in the development of colleagues and students alike, in and out of
the classroom. The technology team collaborates with all departments, including the admissions,
communications, advancement, and academics, and is responsible for supporting and training faculty and
staff in their utilization of existing systems, supporting the school’s technology initiatives and is invested
in a progressive approach to staying ahead of the ever changing landscape of Educational Technology.

Top Skills:
● Customer Service Orientation: Essential for providing exceptional support across the
community to faculty, staff, and students.
● Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities are required.
● Technical Skills: Experience with:
○ Student Information Systems and/or Learning Management Systems
○ Google Workspace and other Google products
○ Operating Systems including Mac, Windows, iOS, Android, and ChromeOS
○ Basic networking and wireless networking concepts (collaborating with BostonIT)
● Project Management: Proven ability to manage IT projects from inception to completion,
including internal communication, task management, vendor coordination, and training. Example
projects include print/document management vendor selection and device distribution.

Key Responsibilities:
● System Management: Supports Rediker AdminPlus, Rediker PlusPortals, Google Workspace,
Print Services and other third-party databases and integrations. Maintain and manage data within
these systems. Partner with the other departments on integrations and data import and export.
● Training and Support: Provide training to faculty, staff, and parents on PlusPortals and Google
Workspace for Education (especially Google Classroom). Support and train users to enhance their
use of these systems.
● Professional Development: Stay current with product features by attending meetings, reading
updates, and participating in briefings and webinars. Continue to develop skills in existing
systems and new systems that the school may adopt in the future.
● Technology Planning: Engage in the school’s technology planning process and contribute to
strategic decisions.
● Community Engagement: Regularly interact with faculty, staff, and students to anticipate needs
and suggest improvements to the technology environment.
● Maintenance and Support: Manage personal device and classroom technology updates,
maintenance, and support, including a system for device insurance claims and loaner programs.
● Introductory Seminars: Assist the Director of Technology, when appropriate, with Intro to
Technology Seminars for grades 7 and 9.
● Team Participation: Contribute to all Adult Learning Community meetings and collaborate with
other departments

Qualifications
● Bachelor’s Degree or Associate Degree with Education Technology Experience
● Experience in K-12 education and/or in a customer-focused technical support role
● Mastery of Google Workspace and Microsoft Office, especially Excel Spreadsheets
● Ability to traverse the Fontbonne campus including climbing stairs as well as sitting or standing
for extended periods.
