ABOUT NUVU

NuVu, founded in Cambridge, MA in 2010, is an innovation school for students in grades 8-12 with a pedagogy that is based on the studio model. Our teachers (known as “coaches”) are a diverse and energetic team of creative educators with a range of backgrounds. In place of traditional courses, our curriculum consists of a series of 4-week multidisciplinary studios; students are immersed in a single studio at a time. NuVu’s four pillars–empathy, innovation, design, and impact–are central to all of the work that we do.
