The Director of Human Resources manages the entire experience of the most important aspect of our school and community – the people that work, live and play with all of us. Gould Academy seeks a Director of Human Resources (HR), who will continue to create more equitable and inclusive systems and environments so that all members of our community can thrive and belong. The successful candidate will administer the day-to-day human resources operations in alignment with the school’s mission and with a focus on best practices and continuous improvement, as well as provide support and guidance to the educators in all the offices that serve Gould’s educational programs. Primary responsibility for the Human Resource Management System (HRMS), developing and implementing employee policies and practices, working with a range of service providers, and supporting the professional growth of faculty and staff are essential to this role. The position calls for an excellent communicator, an enthusiastic collaborator, and a dedicated relationship builder to help bring out our best.
The Director of Human Resources (HR) is a member of the Business Office team, reports to the Chief Financial Officer and works closely with leaders and employees in every facet of school life.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Primary responsibility for the Human Resource Management System (HRMS), developing and implementing employee policies and practices and all applicable personnel laws and regulations, working with a range of service providers, and supporting the professional growth of faculty and staff are essential to this role. The position calls for an excellent communicator, an enthusiastic collaborator, and a dedicated relationship builder with tact, patience, and courtesy.

Compensation and Benefits
This is a full-time, year round, exempt position beginning as soon as possible.
