Director of Facilities Maintenance and Operations

Cardigan Mountain School seeks a skilled and experienced professional to manage the operations and maintenance of the School’s physical plant. The position is a 12-month, full-time, exempt position, and requires some weekend and evening hours. Reporting to the CFO/Assistant Head of School, the Director of Facilities Operations & Maintenance is responsible for proactive oversight of the School’s physical campus, including maintenance, repair, and improvements of all buildings, security, school-owned residences, grounds, water system, athletic fields, vehicles, and other equipment. This position manages our facilities staff, including skilled trades, grounds, and housekeeping. The Director of Facilities Operations & Maintenance will work closely with Director of Planning & Construction in the planning and execution of campus projects outlined in the Strategic Plan.
