Director of College Counseling

Administrator / Full-Time

Boston University Academy, Boston, MA

Boston University Academy (BUA) is seeking a Director of College Counseling to begin in the summer of 2022. The Director is a senior leader and strategic partner to the Head of School, tasked with overseeing all aspects of college counseling at BU Academy. The Director will lead a three-person team — an Associate Director and a part-time Administrative Associate — serving roughly 50-student graduating classes. Due to BUA’s unique secondary-university relationship, BUA seniors who meet certain minimum criteria are guaranteed admission to Boston University. In addition to the core college counseling duties, the Director plays a key role in course counseling and registration, serves as a faculty advisor to a group of 11th and 12th graders, engages in committee work, mentors clubs, assists with chaperone duties, and is part of the senior administrative leadership team. The Director reports to the Head of School.

Interested candidates are asked to upload a resume, list of references (if available), and cover letter addressed to Mr. Chris Kolovos, Head of School here. Please send any questions to buacareers@bu.edu.
