Development Coordinator & Office Manager for Advancement

Noble and Greenough School seeks a full-time development coordinator and office manager. The responsibilities of this position are central to the effectiveness and accuracy of the school’s fundraising efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Process all gifts, pledges, and receipts in a timely and accurate manner, including credit card processing and reporting
- Run Cash Journal reports and work with the business office on all issues regarding gift processing
- Maintain up-to-date biographical information on all constituent records, including updates from the Nobles magazine and other sources
- Research to ensure that we have the most accurate business information for graduates and parents
- Create and maintain database policies and procedures to ensure ongoing consistency and accuracy
- Record event responses, attendance and produce nametags for development events
- Produce weekly outstanding gift and pledge acknowledgment list for staff meeting
- Administer matching gift program by overseeing the completion of all matching gift forms or online confirmations
- Monitor office supply and equipment stock, determine needs, and place orders for necessary items
- Assist major gift officers with travel arrangements and expense reports as needed
- Direct and assist with sorting and distributing letters and parcels
- Receive and greet visitors to the office; ensure appropriate coverage for the main development phone line
- General assistance with mailings, events, and other initiatives as needed, including time sheets and the internal development staff calendar
- Yearly data entry of new parents, new students, new grandparents, and other end-of-year updating
- Occasional night and weekend work may be required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of three years of related office experience
- Experience with Raiser’s Edge or similar constituent management database preferred
- Interest in fundraising and desire to work at an independent school
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office & Google application suites
- Meticulous attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy, tracking, and follow-through
- Ability to manage time efficiently
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proven ability to provide timely responses to requests, information, service, and assistance
- Exercise good judgment and discretion when handling confidential information and interacting with donors and colleagues
- Possess outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
