The Providence Country Day School in East Providence, Rhode Island, seeks to fill a part-time paid position in the Marketing and Communications Office. The Communications Assistant will assist in the creation of written and visual content for the School’s website and social media platforms.
Tasks may include:
- Photography of community members and events
- Researching and authoring news and blog articles
- Gathering and scheduling content for social media channels
- Preparing stories and data for press releases
The ideal candidate should have the following skills and capabilities:
- Excellent writing, proofreading and research skills
- Experience with photography and video
- Strong computer skills and aptitude
- Excellent organization and task management capability; able to handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision
This position requires a background check initiated by the School, as you may be working with students. The Communications Assistant is expected to work on our campus approximately twenty hours per week.
