Concord Academy, an independent, all-gender boarding and day school renowned for its world-class faculty, passionate students, and graduates who make their mark on the world, is seeking an Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach starting the 2026-27 academic year. This is an academic year, part-time position.

Expectations: The Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach at Concord Academy will provide instruction and oversight on the proper use of the fitness center to community members. This includes supervising the use of the fitness center during the designated open use hours on Monday, Saturday and Sunday as determined by the director of athletics. The Assistant S&C coach will advise and supervise users on the effective and safe use of the fitness center. When supervising the space, they will staff the front desk, greet users and be sure that users honor fitness center policies, as determined by the athletics director, such as but not limited to disinfecting equipment and adhering to the athletics department dress code. The Assistant S&C coach will strive to create a welcoming space for all users regardless of their experience level.

Qualifications: certified personal training certificate required, coaching experience preferably in a school setting and the ability to effectively build relationships with secondary school students.

Hours – as assigned (see below for anticipated 2026-27 hours):

M: 7-8am
Sat: 6 hours to be designated by the athletics director.
Sun: 6 hours to be designated by the athletics director.Salary:

$20,000 – $24,500
