After School Support Teacher

The Learning Project seeks a part-time After School Support Teacher to lead a small group of elementary school students from 3:00pm-5:30pm daily, Monday through Friday. The role entails supervising children at the playground, as well as working with students on academics as they complete homework and assignments in the classroom. Depending on the day’s activities, the After School Support Teacher may also be asked to engage with children in group games and lead additional educational opportunities.

This position is ideal for anybody who enjoys working with children and wants to gain experience managing a group and being a key part of a school community. The school offers highly competitive salary, and provides CPR and First Aid training if needed.

Experience with elementary age children is a must, along with strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, excellent organization, and a commitment to the values and principles of this school, as described in our Mission Statement.
