After School Program Teacher

The Charles River School’s after school program has an opening for a part-time teacher to work with students ages 4-14.
Our inviting after school program runs every day that the school building is open, from 3:00pm to 6:00pm, and the position needed is up to five days, from 2:30pm to 6pm. After school staff members are hourly employees and also have the opportunity to provide supervision during some evening events and full day childcare on certain days when school is not in session.
The ideal candidate will be respectful, enthusiastic, punctual and detail-oriented, and have experience working with children including creating and running, and at times engaging in, physical activities and games.
The responsibilities of our after school staff include pre-planning, organizing and supervising indoor and outdoor projects, thoroughly keeping track of and being attentive to attendance changes and logistics, patiently managing student behavior and effectively and professionally communicating and collaborating with other CRS faculty.
