Advancement Database & Research Coordinator
(Full Time – Year Round)
Tilton School is seeking a new Advancement Database & Research Coordinator. The primary
responsibility of this role is to maintain and continuously improve upon the accuracy and efficiency
of all data management for the Advancement team. This role oversees the integrity of data and
supports the fundraising initiatives of the office by organizing donor information, providing data
and research on prospects as well as event support.
Primary Responsibilities:
● Enter and manage the collection of donations, matching gifts, stock gifts, payroll
deduction gifts, pledges, gift-in-kinds, planned giving, and write offs;
● Complete daily, monthly and yearly reporting to reconcile with Advancement and
Business Office;
● Coordinate/generate giving history for specific donors for tax purposes ;
● Coordinate/generate lists, reports and documents needed for events, mailings and
year-end annual reporting, endowment stewardship, auditing, and surveys;
● Oversee research and prospect management with the specific functions of working to
identify new prospects to expand the major prospect pool and working directly with the
Director of Advancement and all front-line fundraisers;
● Support on-campus and off-campus events as needed.
Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate:
● Team- Orientated with a Spirit of Service;
● Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills;
● Prior donor research experience;
● Prior database experience with Raiser’s Edge/NXT preferred.
● 3-5 years’ experience in an Advancement office, Independent School experience
preferred;
● Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with Google Workspace
experience
